  • Product Info

Each cup is lovingly handmade in Los Angeles, CA, making every piece truly one of a kind. Because these cups are hand altered on top of wheel-thrown forms, slight variations in shape and size are part of their charm. No two cups are exactly alike, and that's what makes yours yours.

Sizing: Listed capacities are the minimum your cup will hold. A cup listed at 4 oz may hold 4.2 oz or slightly more, so you always get a little extra room for your favorite brew.

Materials & Safety: All cups are crafted with food-safe, lead-free clay and glazes. You may notice variation in the glaze finish, as this is a natural result of the handmade process. Every cup is individually checked to ensure it meets food-safe standards, so you can sip with confidence.

    Care Instructions:

    • Dishwasher safe

    • Microwave safe

    • Avoid thermal shock. Do not move directly from freezer to microwave or vice versa

    • Handle with care and avoid drops, as ceramics are fragile by nature

Why You'll Love It: There's something special about wrapping your hands around a handmade cup. It turns an ordinary morning coffee or evening tea into a slow, cozy moment just for you. These cups also make a heartfelt and meaningful gift for anyone who appreciates artisan craft.

    Meet the Maker

Hi, I'm Kiki Liu, a full-time ceramics artist born and based in Los Angeles, CA. Every piece you see in this shop was made by my own two hands, and that will never change. Over the past decade, clay has been my constant. It has taught me patience, presence, and the quiet power of making something real in a world that moves too fast.

My practice has always been about more than the object itself. It's about the people behind the craft, the artists who pour everything into their work and deserve a space to grow and thrive. That belief is what led me to found Current State Studio, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting artists and creative communities right here in Los Angeles.

This shop is a direct extension of that mission. When you purchase one of my cups, you are directly funding Current State Studio and helping sustain a space where artists are uplifted, resources are shared, and creativity is treated as essential. Your cup is handmade with love, shaped from the earth, and sent out into the world with real purpose behind it.

Thank you for being here. It genuinely means everything.

    With gratitude,

    Kiki
